How the 200 Degrees referral works
200 Degrees runs its loyalty scheme through its own app: a digital stamp card, a voucher wallet, pre-ordering and a store finder. The referral drops a free drink voucher into that wallet once you have made a first purchase through the app. There is no code to type and no minimum spend beyond that first drink.
- Open the link on your phone. It is a 200 Degrees app link — on a phone it opens the app or the right store listing. Opening it on a laptop and installing the app separately later is how the referral gets lost.
- Install the app and sign up. A new account is needed; the free drink is a welcome reward for new app users.
- Buy something through the app. Scan the app at the till, or use pre-order or table order. Adding a payment card is optional — 200 Degrees does not force you to store one.
- Claim your free drink. The voucher appears in your app rewards, ready to scan in store on a later visit. Claim it by 31 December 2026 — unlike the stamps, this one does have a deadline.

Is 200 Degrees near you?
This is the honest caveat, and it matters more here than on any other offer on this site. 200 Degrees is not Costa. It is an independent roaster that started in Nottingham in 2014 and has grown to around twenty shops, concentrated in the Midlands and northern England — Nottingham, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and York among them. If you live in the south west or Scotland, the free drink may be a long trip.
Check the store finder in the app before you bother signing up. If there is a shop on your commute, the scheme is genuinely worth having: the coffee is a step up from the chains, they run their own barista schools, and the loyalty terms are more generous than most.
