200 Degrees Referral Link 2026 — Free Drink

Tap my referral link, install the 200 Degrees app, and a free drink voucher lands in your account once you have made your first purchase through the app. 200 Degrees is an independent Nottingham roaster rather than a high-street chain, which makes this the best coffee on the hub and the one you are least likely to have nearby.

How the 200 Degrees referral works

200 Degrees runs its loyalty scheme through its own app: a digital stamp card, a voucher wallet, pre-ordering and a store finder. The referral drops a free drink voucher into that wallet once you have made a first purchase through the app. There is no code to type and no minimum spend beyond that first drink.

  1. Open the link on your phone. It is a 200 Degrees app link — on a phone it opens the app or the right store listing. Opening it on a laptop and installing the app separately later is how the referral gets lost.
  2. Install the app and sign up. A new account is needed; the free drink is a welcome reward for new app users.
  3. Buy something through the app. Scan the app at the till, or use pre-order or table order. Adding a payment card is optional — 200 Degrees does not force you to store one.
  4. Claim your free drink. The voucher appears in your app rewards, ready to scan in store on a later visit. Claim it by 31 December 2026 — unlike the stamps, this one does have a deadline.

We both get a drink from it: you get the welcome voucher, I get the referrer's reward. 200 Degrees funds both, so your coffee costs the same either way.

Is 200 Degrees near you?

This is the honest caveat, and it matters more here than on any other offer on this site. 200 Degrees is not Costa. It is an independent roaster that started in Nottingham in 2014 and has grown to around twenty shops, concentrated in the Midlands and northern England — Nottingham, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and York among them. If you live in the south west or Scotland, the free drink may be a long trip.

Check the store finder in the app before you bother signing up. If there is a shop on your commute, the scheme is genuinely worth having: the coffee is a step up from the chains, they run their own barista schools, and the loyalty terms are more generous than most.

  • A stamp for every drink bought in store, collected by scanning the app at the till or ordering through it.
  • Nine stamps earns a free drink, which converts to a voucher in the app to redeem when you like.
  • Stamps do not expire — 200 Degrees puts it as "forever, or until we advise otherwise", so an occasional habit still gets there.
  • Payment cards are optional, and you can add more than one if you want the pre-order convenience.

Conditions worth knowing

  • New 200 Degrees app users only — an existing account cannot claim the welcome drink.
  • Use the link before installing the app so the referral attaches to your new account.
  • A first purchase through the app is required before the voucher is released.
  • The reward must be claimed by 31 December 2026.
  • The voucher is for a drink; it is not exchangeable for cash or transferable.
  • Stamps and vouchers are for 200 Degrees' own shops — check the app's store finder rather than assuming coverage.

200 Degrees referral FAQ

What do I get?

One free drink voucher, added to your 200 Degrees app after your first purchase through the app. Claim it by 31 December 2026.

Is there a code to type in?

No. The referral travels in the link — nothing to enter manually at sign-up.

How many stamps for a free drink?

Nine. You earn a stamp for every drink bought in store, and nine stamps converts into a free drink voucher.

Do the stamps expire?

No — 200 Degrees says stamps last forever, or until they advise otherwise. The referral voucher is the part with a deadline.

Where can I use it?

In 200 Degrees' own coffee shops, which are mostly in the Midlands and the North. The app has a store finder with a map view — worth checking before you sign up.

Do I have to add a payment card?

No. 200 Degrees makes that optional, though adding one enables pre-order and table service.

Can existing app users claim it?

No — the free drink is for new sign-ups only.

How does it compare to Costa or Nero?

Better coffee, far fewer shops. Costa and Caffè Nero win on convenience and you will find them anywhere; 200 Degrees wins if there is one near you. There is nothing stopping you joining all three.
