How the Octopus Electroverse referral works

The referral is carried by the link, so there is no code to type. Sign up through my link and the referral attaches to your new Electroverse account.

1. Open the referral link. It takes you to the Electroverse sign-up page with the referral already attached.
2. Create your account and add a payment method. You need an active payment method linked before the credit can be paid.
3. Charge once. Use the Electroverse card or app for a charge of more than £5.
4. Receive your credit. Electroverse says the £5 is then added to both accounts within 24 hours.

Both of us get charging credit, and the price you pay to charge does not change because you joined through a link.

What Octopus Electroverse is

Octopus Electroverse is Octopus's app and charge card for public EV charging. One account gives access to a large network of chargers from different operators, and you pay through Electroverse rather than setting up an account with each one.

It is separate from your home energy supply. You do not need to be an Octopus Energy customer to use it. Conditions worth knowing

• The referral is for new Electroverse accounts only. You cannot refer someone who already has an account.
• You must start sign-up from the referral link. Each person can only be referred once, and the link will not work a second time for them.
• Credit is paid after a first charge of more than £5 on the Electroverse card or app, with a payment method linked.
• The credit can only be spent on charging on the Electroverse network. It cannot be refunded to a bank account or moved to an Octopus Energy account.
• Electroverse can change the amount or end the scheme. The figure shown in the app when you sign up is the one that applies.
